IV poles are very essential in health-care units where IV administration is frequent. IV fluid is administered for various purposes but its steady flow to patients can only be ensured with IV poles. Generally, IV poles have hooks near their top where a bag of fluid or medicine is hung securely. Today, a wide range of IV poles for sale are found in retail and online medical supply stores but their basic function remains the same. Their variations include number of legs, most of IV poles have either 4 or 5 legs for better stability. There also IV poles with wheels for mobility.
