Creating PDF Forms-II

PDF forms are essentially used in websites, to collect data or information from the users who log on to the site. These can be used either as feedback forms or for any other utility. Educational institutes, for instance, use PDF forms as admission forms, on their websites. Making these forms available on one’s website is made possible with PDF programs. These forms can include digital signatures too. This is a very professional format with a user friendly interface. Hosting PDF forms on a website is a simple task and with a few steps, a form of your choice can be up and running on your website.

PDF forms require certain things, before they can be hosted on the website. While HTML forms can be viewed by anyone, viewers of PDF forms require Adobe in their systems. Keeping that in mind, the first step towards creating a PDF form is downloading PDF software. This is expensive. However, there are many other free versions of the software which even allow the user to modify the format of the forms to suit their needs. The software that is chosen should be one that allows import from other editing software such as Word.

The color of the form, the background, its look, the font, everything can be modified by means of the software. The best advantage of this is that the interface of the program is simple and easy to use. Once the look of the form has been edited, the details can be further added. These are called fields. Depending on the information required, each PDF form would vary in the form fields and the boxes. The PDF program allows the user to create multiple lines and add text wherever required.

Upon completion of editing, the form needs to be saved to the hard disk of the system. Further to that, the form can be uploaded onto the website. If any changes are required to be made in the form, it can be open from the hard drive and editing can be done. As soon as the form is uploaded on to the website, it will be up and running and the visitors can use them to fill out their details. The main advantage of PDF forms is that, it allows the collection of large / complicated information. These PDF forms can be saved on the hard drive and then the details can be filled out.
