In this article, we will tell you how to convert MP3 to Text in a few quick steps. You can use wav-to-text speech recognition software, which can run in Windows 95 and higher releases. If you are using this particular software, you have to convert your Mp3 file to wav first and then convert it into text.

Start by opening the file in Windows Media Player and then convert the audio file into wav, by choosing Save As and select an output location.

Under the Type drop down menu select Wav and then, save the file.

Now open the File, go to Import and select the WAV file you just converted from MP3.
The program will fill the large white box in the window with the text from your audio file. You can now copy and paste the text to your favorite text editing program for further editing.
