Oxygen Nebulizers

Nebulizers have become a common means of treatment in any respiratory disorders. Whether it is cystic fibrosis, asthma or any other respiratory diseases doctors most often recommend the use of a nebulizer. A nebulizer is a device used to administer medication to people in forms of a liquid mist to the airways. Portable nebulizers are handy as they provide immediate and easy access to medication, and have become a preferred treatment recommended by physicians.

Though doctors earlier used to prescribe inhalers for their patients as they were cheap and portable due to the innovation in portable nebulizers it is becoming increasingly common in the treatment process. Portable nebulizers have become affordable and are available in a variety of models that are compact and handy, whether for home or travel. In principle the nebulizer uses oxygen, aerosol or compressed air to break the medicine or solution into droplets which is then inhaled by the patient.
An oxygen nebulizer is a medical equipment that is used to give medicine to people in mist form. This kind of nebulizer is used to treat patients with cystic fibrosis, asthma, and other respiratory diseases. Oxygen portable nebulizers are also called atomizers as they pump oxygen through a liquid so that it turns into vapor and can be easily inhaled by the patient. Oxygen portable nebulizers are prescribed for critical patients with severe cases of respiratory problems.
