Nebulizer Masks

Nebulizer masks help to ensure that the user inhales the full dose of the medicine from the nebulizer. Problems with respiration can be controlled, if not cured, by the regular inhaling of corticosteroids.

These corticosteroids are vital for the proper functioning of asthma patients; hence, the nebulizer mask is crucial as well. Nebulizer masks are for infants and adults who cannot use inhalers and other treatment methods. With a nebulizer mask, passive breathing and drawing in of the medicine is permitted.

Many patients with respiratory disorders have difficulty using and do not get relief from breath inhalers. The doctors prescribe an alternative called the nebulizer, which allows the full dosage of the medicine to be inhaled easily. The adult nebulizer mask is the mouth attachment of the nebulizer and helps to deliver the liquid medication, by a consistent stream of mist flowing from the nebulizer cup and ensuring that the complete dosage is inhaled.

The mask is useful to treat both, short-term disorders like administering respiratory syncytial virus and long-term maintenance for chronic illness, such as asthma.
